(07/11) – OTV is meddling under various controversies. Recently Jagi Mangat Panda, the MD of OTV and wife of BJP’s vice president Mr. Baijayanta Panda released a video of one minute thirty eight seconds. In that video she said that within this two months more than a dozen of cases have been lodged against OTV and it’s employees. Proper investigations should be done about those cases. She also mentioned that the state police is harassing their employees and forcing them to resign. She said that her channel always broadcast impartial news. So she has appealed that OTV and it’s employees must not be harassed and be forced to resign.
In the mean time, some veteran journalists have left the channel. At first Shanti Bhushan left and now Apurba Ranjan Panda has also resigned.
In its twenty three years of history, OTV has never been in such worsening situation.
At a recent complaint regarding OTV authority syndicated some SC land being purchased illegally in their driver’s name at Sarua in Khurdha District. So Rajayasabha MP Mr Sasmit Patra tweeted this and attacked Mr Baijayanta Panda tagging Modi and Amit Shah.

OTV is suffering from various cases like employee’s minor girl gang-rape case, viral fake video of MP Chandrani Murmu, land corruption, illegal studio construction etc. So everyone is raising question that if there is no fire, how there will be smoke.
