(06/11) Although government has approved the Farm Bill in parliament, still protests against it are continuing. Yesterday around one million farmers from twenty states have protested against the farm bill in five thousand different places. Including it, they also have protested against the proposed Electricity Modification Bill.
Majority of the farmers from Punjab and Haryana have blocked the national highways in their protest. Farmers and labourers in farming sector from states like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnatka etc have joined this protest in enormous number.

This road blockage made exception for Ambulance, patient’s vehicle, Petrol and LPG cylinder carrying vehicles etc. and let them go.
