(06/11) – Central Government which brings up Army for every second issue and cry for them is now sabotaging Army staff pension.

As per Randeep Singh Surjewala, the spokesperson of Congress, only those who have served more than 35 years in Indian army will get full pension. But more than 90% of the Army take retirement before 35 years.
According to a report from June 2019, around 7399 posts in Army, 1545 posts in Navy and 483 posts in Air force are vacant. The steps taken by the government are discouraging the young generation for Army. As per Mr. Singh’s accusations, by these missteps youth of India won’t be interested in joining Army in future. It will only harm the future of the country.

He objected that if this new step is really implemented, then about 65% of Army officers joining other sectors would be eliminated.
